News headlines aren’t known for their lighthearted stories, but it seems the news is chock-full of horrible new revelations about our sinful world of late. Terrible coverage about human trafficking rings in our hometown, heartless murders, and injustices have taken center stage in the aftermath of an international upheaval.

How do we make sense of this new and scary world that continues to be revealed? What type of conversations and advocacy should we spend time and energy on?

This month, we invite you to write about how the Lord calls His followers to advocate for the weak and needy. In what ways can we show Christ to t he world and bring deliverance from the evil that surrounds us?

  • Discuss your take on recent events
  • Share bible verses that back up your claims through Christ
  • Provide advice on how to advocate for those that need a voice

Since we are a family of child advocates, consider sharing your insights from the perspective of Compassion’s ministry and adding a link for child sponsorship.
