“The Lord keeps you from all harm and watches over your life. The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.” – Psalm 121:7-8

The life we’ve been given is full of both beautiful, joy-filled moments and moments that make you wonder how you’ll ever make it through. And the Lord promises both.

In the book of John, Jesus sits with His disciples before Passover and promises complete joy for eternity. But He also promises heartbreaking and painful troubles (John 16). How do we learn to rely on the Lord’s strength and peace during both the highs and lows that are promised to us?

This month, we invite you to write about what the Lord has been teaching you lately. Have you been thrown a curveball that seems insurmountable? How were you able to move forward?

  • Discuss your experience with recent highs and lows
  • Share bible verses/passages that have helped you get through
  • Provide advice on how to support other’s highs and lows
