“The LORD is near to all who call upon Him; To all who call upon Him in truth.” Psalm 145:18, NKJV

It’s March, which supposedly is the month when Spring starts. From where I’m sitting, Springtime seems like an unrealistic fantasy. It’s still very brown and greyish white everywhere. Sure, the days are getting longer, but where are the flowers and color and warmth? It doesn’t seem likely that Winter will ever end, even though I know it has to.

The same can be true for difficult times in our lives. God’s promises are there, but it feels like we’ll never get to see them come to pass.

This month, write about a “winter” or “dry” season you’ve experienced that felt like it was just never going to end.

How did you get through it?
What did God teach you in this season?
Have you changed as a result of your experience?

“And the LORD, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave or forsake you; do not fear or be dismayed.” Deuteronomy 31:8, NKJV
