No Water

Summer is a wonderful time for swimming, running in the sprinklers, enjoying a refreshing icy beverage…We use water in so many ways and we tend to take it for granted. Yet in much of the developing world, water is a source of illness, disease, and death.

For June’s writing assignment, write about what would happen to you if you didn’t have access to clean water in your town for one week.

What is your initial reaction when you try to turn your water on?
What changes do you have to make to your routine?
Do you think about water differently when the problem is corrected and you have clean running water again?

Feel free to use this resource (https://www.compassion.com/poverty/water.htm) on water facts and to share about Compassion’s Water and Sanitation efforts (https://www.compassion.com/mission-priorities/mission-water-and-sanitation.htm) in your post and invite your readers to take action to provide clean water.
